About Me
Here’s who I am.

i BUILT A CAREER DEVOTED TO PUBLIC SERVICE.
I’ve worked with governmental, non-profit and campaign organizations to support institutions, aid the vulnerable, defend those in need and represent voters. I want to work for the best interests of my district, community, and country, and I am looking for opportunities to do more.
I’m an elected school board member.
Since 2023 I’ve served as a school board director in Central York School District in Pennsylvania and helped overturn its book ban in 2023.
My education focused on bringing people together and fostering understanding.
I hold a BA in International Studies from American University in Washington, DC and an MFA in Creative Writing from Hollins University in Virginia.
I continue my education with an active library subscription, a full Kindle and bookshelves that bow in the middle because I’ve stacked too many books on them.
I care about history and believe in progress.
I was raised by an Army officer and lawyer that fostered in me a deep interest in American and world history, constitutional law, sociology, economics, religion and culture. To me, history isn’t a stale story crafted by dead men. We are shaped by who and what came before, but progress is always possible and often necessary.
I’m inspired by the challenge of building
a better and freer future.
There’s a reason my favorite show to watch with my wife is Star Trek and my favorite game to play with my son is Minecraft. I want to build new things and explore new worlds.
I’m a nerd and a dreamer.
Talk to me about space and time. Give me books I haven’t read yet. Serve me a new recipe. Tell me something I don’t know. Share a new story with me. Like Vulcans say, I value “infinite diversity in infinite combinations.”

I’m looking for new opportunities to serve, create, and advocate.
Contact me and let’s see what we can accomplish together for your organization.
